Yesterday evening I had one joyful family reunion with my gf&#8217;s relative. A few (6 in exact) of us but huge portion of delicious food were served.

&#8220;Nan Lu&#8221; Fried Chicken Wings.

Japanese Tofu with Minced Pork &#38; Salted Fish.

Asam Fish with Mix Vegetables.

This dish is unknown for me yet but the taste was fantastic!

        Dong Zhi is a time for family reunion.  Tang Yuan, sweet soup of glutinous rice flour balls, is indispensable during this festival. 

 &#8221;Yuan&#8221; (literally meaning &#8220;round&#8221;) signifies &#8221;yuan man&#8221; (complete ) and Tang Yuan means &#8220;tuan yuan&#8221; (family reunion ).  

Eating Tang Yuan is symbolic of family unity and family prosperity.
