I bought Vee some supposed-to-be extra delicious food this afternoon from one of the small food stall in Senadin.

Here’s a pic Vee capture earlier as she was so excited I tapao-ed a so called “very nice looking” roasted chix, pork & 2 fried potatos.

She was so happy she took the first few scoop of rice and slices of chix while maintaining her eye position on her laptop.  

After few spoons, she realized something wasn’t right with one of the slices of meat. There were some”extra” stuff at its side.

She was lucky enough she spotted this. Fly eggs!

p/s : Few of my friends had food-poisoning last year after they had dinner at the same stall. But what can we do to avoid this? The health ministries should appoint some of their officers to maintain regular checks on eating outlet & food outlet.. ! Or instead. The operator should keep their food away from the houseflies & maintain a hygienic pratice to wash their hands regularly & not to keep contact with money after putting their hands on the food which we gonna eat!

There are some of your out there that might heard of ways of getting award which carries the title Datuk, Dato, Datin, Tan Sri & etc.

There are also rumours that you can get these VIPs title with some payment.

You could have imagine.

What these titles entitles you?

 

 

But in some part of the world you can have all the helms & fame of Dato or Datuk you don’t actually to buy or conferred one by Sultan.

Its partially true partially not.

The part where I wrote “dedicated-ly” on the bad experiences that I had in some food outlet was true.

The busted myth was that they did not sue me.

There’s one guy that left a comment on my blog post. He insisted that I should complaint about the quality of the food that I had at pizzahut.

So I took his advise & I lodged a complaint via a feedback form that is everly available on www.pizzahut.com.my .

They (the Miri branch Pizzahut ) did ring & apologize for their mistakes & even offer me for a replacement meal F.O.C.

I told them I did not want a F.O.C. meal but what we – the customers wanted was the betterment & improvement of your food & services.

He said okay, sorry we’ll try our best to improve. Lets hope this really gonna happen.

Although it wasn’t true that I got sued by PizzaHut, I’m really glad that some of my friends…show some sincere cares.  They came out with some touching SMSs. This is one of them. Thank you!

No, it was just an April Fool Joke. I promise, won’t do that to you guys anymore.

She shredded few drops of unnecessary tears when she read April’s 1st post & dashed to my room as immediate as she finished it. Ooops.. Not gonna tell who.. LoL

Curtin Uni. Open Day

Its gonna be held 4th April 09.  Yea, that’s 4.4.09 – what a bad date.

This year, Curtin is celebrating its 10th year’s anniversary of its establishment in Sarawak.

I heard its going to be a grand.

So here’s some rumours I heard

 

There’ll be an opening ceremony of Phase-II buildings.

Launching of Phase III by the Prime Minister. 

Lots of food.

Lots of games & activities line up from 10 – 8.30pm.

Lots of prizes to be won too! 

Oh, did I mention.

That these didn’t include one Compaq Notebook for lucky draw’s winner.

You’ve been so kind and supportive for these years. I’m really touched by your SMSs & some even called in from overseas to find out how I’m now.

I have never been so down since the last argument with my dad which I really really regretted.

I have been questioned about my quietness. I doubt that question needs any explanation from me. 

Everyone knows now. My parents have been informed. Rumours spread fast. My close friends – they all knew.

I’ve critized & gave unbiased comments on the local food outlet, international brands such as Pizza Hut  , MasWings  & many more.

I knew for sure  one day some big guns from some companies will nail me down for these.

I did not meant to tease, I did not meant to exaggerate.

Its all fact, my experiences, whether fluttered or amazed, I would blog them without any prejudices.

I did not go over the edge, at least I thought so.

I am not a lawyer, I do not know what I did wrong, I do not know what I did that provoked them.

I will fight this case.

I got home from campus this afternoon & I received a letter from one of the famous law firm in Miri, acknowledging me the situation I’m facing.

Probably few hundred thousands in defamation & damages.

But my guts told me I will be rescued & the case will be dropped.

Friends & course mates,

I will not be joining you guys for lectures, our regular sports session, & our weekends outing for at least several months.

I will miss you.

I will miss Curtin University too.

Its too early to say goodbye , I’m an undergraduates proceeding with my 2nd year degree.

 

I’ve to say good bye to my studies for now, until I’ve settle the hefty damages the might charge.

I do really hope, they will reconsidered their decision.

Proton Waja(s), after serving for years on the road & appeared untiringly for the PDRM – Royal Malaysian Police force had shown very successful results in:

1. Creating fear among motorist. Everytime see white colour Waja heart also beats faster. Duno why, its like automatic already.
2. Increasing number of summons issued. Motorists then have to dig deeper into their pocket. Policemen are smart. They know what you did wrong even you tried to hide it. For instance,  when I was confronted by the Police for not fastening the seat belts while driving they always say, “Tau tak apa kesalahan, Encik? Tidak pakai safety belt ya?” I jokingly said , I do, but they insist that they tadi sudah nampak Polis baru tarik belk ya. It is remarkable that they even can see me in my heavily tinted car. 

If you read newspaper everyday, you’ll know not only the Malaysian Police are smart, the criminals are getting smarter too. They even carry out their crimes with SUVs & luxury cars so that they could easily escape the Proton Wajas. PDRM’s frustration with the runaway criminals finally come to an end with the introduction of new breed of vehicles to daily routine.

Such a nice evolution in the Police Force. Some Police forces worldwide had utilize high powered car a lot earlier than our PDRM. Some of you may heard these before. Lamborgini, Asto Martin, Ferrari & etc are being use as patrol vehicles in some European countries. That was no fake. Myth – Busted.

Next time if I caught one of this Police vehicle on the road, I’ll surely slow down.

High powered vehicles are not only utilized in the Police task for some reason. They look sexy with a Taxi cap on the roof.

Too rich or too humble?

These cars are too attractive even some Taxi driver had it one his check list of which cars he should drive before he passed on.

Even Malaysian Taxi driver did not want to miss out the glamour. Do you know how they did it?

Nightmare taxi ride from KLIA

 

RETURNING after our family holiday, we hired a licenced taxi from KLIA to take us home.

The taxi driver was chatting all the way with other taxi friends on high radio volume and guess what, running at a speed of 170 km per hour!

I remember the days when all KLIA taxis had to have their number plates pasted inside the taxi for the benefit of passengers but I could not find it in the taxi we were in.

During the whole journey of 45 minutes, my family and I had to endure the noisy chatting and most importantly, we felt unsafe with his reckless driving.

I would like the authorities to ensure that the lives of travellers are not endangered.
