I just dig out these photo from my archives. They were snapped two weeks ago, on my way back to Sibu from Miri. I have been looking forward for the opening of these temple since last year but it has not open its gate until then.

With the Rm60 Mil price tag on it, you can expect The Yu Lung San Tien En Si  (Jade Dragon Temple) at Km26 Sibu-Bintulu Road to be some huge gigantic and it was claimed that this temple is the biggest  of its kind in Asia. Thus, indireclty the largest in Malaysia. Here’s link of the news.

I was fortunate enough that a day earlier this temple had just been officially opened. Which if not, I won’t be able to enter its compound and capture these photos.

The architecture are almost as authentic as the ones we would see in China.

In fact, you will feel like you’re in China without having to travel there.. To get a picture like these:

I did pass through the temple when i was out-stationed in Selangau (between sibu-bintulu) it was still under construction that time. But just by plain looking, the temple was extremely Huge! This might be another signature of Sarawak :)

Hei I just visited the temple. Drove a rented car from sibu to the temple. It’s really a wonderful experience. If only I could be able to understand what the temple caretakers were trying so hard to explain to me about Buddha, gods and deities. I would certainly want to visit it again in future.
