H1N1 – almost kena
I had high fever last night and coughing and headache. I thought I’ve been infected by the H1N1… I consulted a doctor this morning and I was diagnosed with Cough only.. but that qualified me for a 5 days sick certificate. I’m even allowed to get 30 days’ certificate as an option. Thanks to the H1N1 pandemic, schools are closed down and longer sick leaves become a reality now.
Prawn Fishing
I was sightseeing with my brothers tonight when we spotted an attractive signboard of a restaurant adjacent to the Lanang Bridge, Sibu. We drove in for a sneakpeak and noticed a group of people was gathering at the side of the restaurant. Then a banner caught my attention. It says “Prawn Fishing Rm10/hour.” We decided to approach the group of people and see their catch. As soon as we settled, a prawn was wrestled and brought out of the pond. The night got more exciting as more prawns were fished out. I thought my brothers wanted to experience prawn fishing so I rented a fishing rod for them.
Suprisingly, few minutes after we dropped our first bait, a prawn pull and we got our first prawn! Then the waiting for the second prawn didn’t took long too. The second prawn was the largest catch we had tonight. We did missed too hook up a few times but we managed to got 3 prawns tonight. Well, Rm10 for 3 prawns. Not bad at all..

Woke up 4A.M this morning to catch the 715A.M flight to Sibu.
Had breakfast with parents.
Then went to mama’s in the evening.
Drove around town after dinner.
Writing with exhaustion & heading towards the bed now.
Delifrance Giant Beef Burger
Went to Bistro Delifrance @ Bintang few days ago to try out the Giant Beef Burger. This value set meal is priced at Rm8.95 ++. It came with FREE soft drink.
It wasn’t as gigantic as advertise though.

Short update:
Went to have supper/early breakfast and got back home at 4am.
We were chatting and watching the memorial ceremony of Michael and it was such a superbly mesmerizing memorial. This is the first time that I’ve ever seen millions of people around the States mourning together for 1 person – The King of Pop.
Now he’s gone but his name lives forever and ever and ever and ever.
Rest in peace MJ.
