Pizza Hut Miri – Dismay

All that I was expecting from an international renowned fast food restaurant franchise was something similar from the picturesque menu they provided.
But , the one and only Pizza Hut in Miri town nailed my heart down to earth with their “special” or “unique” spaghetti.
Pizza Hut Miri’s Portuguese Prawn Spaghetti.
Or you can rename it as Miri’s Prawn Spaghetti. Oh ya, I forgot there was this fine print *for illustration purposes only. Bijak kan?
Pizza Hut Miri rated by me, 3/10.

Can’t complain much. Skills of cook depends on the cook. But that look distasteful and un-appetising

Same price as advertise.. They wont giv u discount for that dude.

not just pizza hut at miri.. at here, my place (wangsa maju, KL) also serves like that
summore not really delicious as they said..
Just make sure you actually do what you claim you will in innit.
Looks like the waiter took a shit on a plate and passed it to you as the “Portuguese Prawn Spaghetti” dish. Hehe …
Try complaining it to their site. They DO receive complains and read them.
Just remember to include your receipt number along. Or maybe you can insert a link to your blog. 
I know bout the complaints since I once worked in Pizza Hut. They do read them, but whether to take actions, that depends on the area manager.
akaneko : i guess, they don’t hv a proper management system that monitor the quality of their food. or maybe the manager in some pizza hut just dont care about the quality of food they served.

Pizza hut’s sensasi delight packages are still OK for me. I think I will go for pizzas rather than pastas because it’s says pizza hut… lol…

can’t do much actually bcoz as u said.. “bijak kan”, they already stated *for illustration purposes only*. that statement will ensure that they are not ’sue-able” XD Nway, I’ve worked part time in Pizza Hut before so I can assure you that it’s not cooked by any chef but just an ordinary person who was taught how to make it. for me it’s just a matter of how ‘ikhlas’ the cook prepare the food. If he/she really loves the job, that person should have ‘present’ the food better if not as good as seen on the picture.. p/s: home made is still the best! nyum2

Hey Jee,
It has become a norm that you got such terrible service in fast food chains in Malaysia.
The management of the outlets are usually oversees only by the local branch’s manager thus sometimes its not up to the standard and expectation set by the HQ.
I’ve experienced it myself too.
I will email you the link so that you can make complaints to the HQ.
Also had very bad experience at the Wangsa Maju branch. Actually I was verbally harassed by one of the staff there. I was there last Thursday, on the 3rd of June 2010 for dinner. The manager did nothing to warn the jackass. Will not be repeating my visit to Pizza Hut – period. Will also encourage friends & relative to do the same.
