After few days of shopping spree in the major shopping malls in KualaLumpur, we took a bus from the PasarSeni Bus station to Sunway Pyramid and walk our way to one of Malaysian favourite theme park which is just a stone throw from Sunway Pyramid shopping mall. The entrance fee for an adult with Mykad is Rm 48 + Rm 10 refundable deposit.
Disappointment hits me when I realised that the theme park had really aged and some of their rides had either been removed or ceased from functioning. I remembered ten years back my parents brought me here I used to see a huge roller coaster just right in front of the entrance but today it has been removed due to unknown reason.
However, they did add new “flavour” to the their park with 3 new themes. The Scream Park, Xtreme Park and Wildlife Sanctuary. We only have few hours to spend in the theme park so we ought only for Theme Park + Wet Park ticket. These are few photos that we took during our trip to the lagoon.

The Scream Park
These are photos taken in the exotic stones exhibition. I’m not going to brief one by one on the photo. I’ll let the photo do the talking instead.
Off we go to the wet park where most of the visitors spent their time. You can see behind the lagoon is Sunway Pyramid and to the left is Sunway Hotel Resort.
Sunway Lagoon claimed that they built the longest pedestrian hanging bridge in the world.
My bro and I took a pic with Sunway’s Mascot before we leave the lagoon.
We had a nice day in Sunway Lagoon. Despite the thrills and chills in the lagoon, I came to realised that, no matter how young and how old are we, the human, we still need to have fun and relaxation. A theme park like Sunway Lagoon plays an important role in fostering relationship and creating wonderful memories for youngsters and even adult like me.
Petaling Street or commonly known by local as Chi-Cheong-Kai is a Chinatown located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is infamous for pirated clothes and accessories along with bootleg DVDs and CDs. Petaling Street however does not exclusively offer pirated products. Haggling is a common sight here and the place is usually crowded with locals as well as tourists.
On the first night of our arrival in KL, we made an courtesy visit to Petaling Street to scout for local Chinese food. We spotted alot of restaurants that are still running in pre-war buildings and alongside there are several stalls selling food, fruits, flowers and many more.
A stall which is operating in front of an “Double A” photocopy shop interest us with their signboard which wrote “Famous Claypot Rice”. We decided to have a try there and here what we ordered:
Famous Claypot Rice.
This hawker stall sell cook-on-the-grill fish with fancy names such as “France” Fish, “Spanish” Fish and etc. We settled with Spanish Fish. It was spicy & sour. The fish was so tenderly and soft. I highly recommend this dish to those who like spicy food.
We had a nice food dining in a “pre-historic” environment while enjoying the sight of busy traders promoting their counterfeit goods.
